According to Islam, also known as the religion of Muslims, there is only one God, Allah, and Muhammad is his final prophet. The Quran is considered the holy book of Islam and is believed to be the literal word of God as revealed to Muhammad. Muslims follow the Five Pillars of Islam, which are basic acts of worship and faith that every Muslim is expected to uphold. These include the declaration of faith (Shahada), prayer (Salah), charity (Zakat), fasting during the month of Ramadan (Sawm), and pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj). Islam also teaches the importance of piety, humility, honesty, kindness, and charity towards others. Muslims believe in the concept of accountability on the Day of Judgment, where they will be judged according to their deeds in this life. Islam encourages its followers to seek knowledge, be just and respectful towards others, and to strive for personal improvement and spiritual growth.
